Railify is committed to our responsibility in the competence wheel. The railway is by far the most sustainable way to transport people and goods. However, in many ways the industry is slow because the installed systems (eg signaling) are several generations old and deeply integrated, making them expensive and slow to upgrade.
Competence is the key.
We need both existing competence and experience from the old installed base – building blocks e.g. relay technology, electronic interlocks and completely modern digital systems. We also need the latest competence and technology for automation, sensor technology and AI for a fully integrated and optimized rail system with the traveling customer or freight at the center.
We must bridge the two worlds by exchanging skills and experiences between people in what we call the skills wheel. To involve and feed railway experience to young engineers and learn new innovative technologies.
